Extra-long head and half-size heavy design make for powerful presentations to far-ranging targets.

Transcontinental flats fishing is a game of calculated chance. It takes a willingness to roll with whatever the day gives you tides, conditions and split-second decisions. A deep knowledge of intended targets from permit to tarpon to bones and beyond. And
of course it calls for a smart fly line with the ability to push limits and the wherewithal to make the shots, no matter the circumstances. Enter the new Ambassador Series Flats Passport, a far-ranging tropical floating taper designed for worldwide flats exploration and made in collaboration with globetrotting angler, Oliver White.

• Front-loaded head loads rods quickly and effectively for short casts
• Short front taper supplies the power to turn over long leaders and heavy flies into stiff breezes
• Extra long head (58ft for WF8F) and extended rear taper enables anglers to carry or pick up long lengths of line for precise shots to distant fish

• SlickCast
• DirectCore

I want a tool that lets me do what I want to do. In this case,I needed to be able to throw a long leader because I think itmatters. And I also wanted to be able to aerialize and cast moreline to be able to pick up and reposition it precisely, withouthaving to strip in a short head. This line effectively executesthe action I’m interested in creating one thatll enhance youroverall experience on the flats.
