Garbolino Squadra Competition Series Catapult Bag: Precision Storage for Precision Feeding

The Garbolino Squadra Competition Series Catapult Bag is a specialized storage solution designed to protect one of the most critical yet fragile parts of an anglers kit: their catapults. Exposure to UV rays, moisture, and extreme temperatures can cause catapult elastics to perish or lose their snap. This bag provides a controlled, ventilated environment to prolong the life of your elastics and keep your frames organized.

Crafted from the signature 100% waterproof heavy-duty PVC canvas, it features a unique ventilation grid along the contour. This allows airflow to circulate within the bag, helping damp catapults dry naturally and preventing the rubber elastics from rotting when stored after a wet session.

Key Performance Features

• Contoured Ventilation Grid: The perimeter of the bag is fitted with a specialized mesh grid. This is vital for breathability, ensuring that any moisture trapped on the elastics or pouches after a session can evaporate, significantly extending the lifespan of the latex.

• 100% Waterproof PVC Shell: While the bag allows internal moisture to escape via the grid, the heavy-duty PVC fabric protects the contents from external rain and splashes while sitting on your side tray or in your carryall.

• Squadra Series Build Quality: Featuring the iconic Squadra aesthetics, including the high-contrast blue zips and technical carbon-look finish. The double-zip system allows for a wide opening, so you can quickly grab the specific catapult you need.

• Compact & Portable: At 25 x 28 cm, it is designed to hold multiple catapults (typically 3 to 5, depending on size) while remaining small enough to fit into the side pockets of the Squadra Compact Carryall.

Ideal Usage Scenarios

• Organizing Your Feeders: Perfect for separating your pellet catapults from your groundbait or maggot slings, ensuring you dont grab the wrong tool during a busy match.

• Elastic Maintenance: Essential for competition anglers who use high-end latex elastics that require protection from light and stagnant dampness to remain snappy.

• Side Tray Management: Keep the bag on your side tray or shelf; the reinforced handle makes it easy to hang from a seat box accessory arm for instant access.

• Travel Protection: Prevents catapult frames from getting tangled with other gear or having the pouches crushed by heavier items in your main carryall.

Gerrys Tip: To truly maximize the life of your catapults, I recommend wiping the elastics down with a damp cloth to remove any salt or bait residue before putting them back in the bag. The ventilation grid works best if the bag is stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlightyour elastics will stay fresh and powerful for much longer
