Ross San Miguel Fly Reel – A modern tribute to a timeless classic.

Since its debut in 1973, the Ross San Miguel has stood as one of the most iconic reels in fly fishing. To celebrate 50 years of craftsmanship and innovation, Ross Reels introduces the new San Miguel, a refined redesign that preserves the soul of the original while elevating its performance for todays angler.

Featuring a newly engineered frame and an all-new drag knob with exceptional tactile feedback, this edition allows precise adjustments with ease. Inside, a powerful carbon/stainless sealed drag system delivers a wide, smooth range of control suited for everything from delicate presentations to demanding runs. The modernized spool sports updated design lines and a push-button release system for effortless, secure spool changes.

Finished in a polished high-gloss sheen and built with heirloom-level durability, the 50th Anniversary San Miguel is made to be fished hard and passed on. Each reel includes an optional oversized drag knob that press-fits over the standard knob for even better grip and intuitive adjustment on the water.
