Evergreen Combat Crank 400 68 mm 21 grams Floating Lure 280

68mm | 21g | Floating

The Combat Crank 400 68 mm 21 grams Floating Lure is a deeper floating crankbait made for contact fishing.

The bill and body are there to drive the lure into the strike zone, bump cover, and kick off-line instead of swimming back in a perfect, boring path.

A steady retrieve gets it down and working, but the better bites often come when it touches rock, timber, weed, or bottom and suddenly changes direction.

Since it floats, a short pause can help it rise away from cover and also give a following fish a chance to eat.

Use it around ledges, riprap, weed edges, timber, points, bridge edges, and hard-bottom transitions.

It is not the lure for fish feeding right on top; it is strongest when fish are sitting around cover or depth changes and will react to a crankbait invading that space.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, perch, peacock bass, mangrove jack, pike, and cover-oriented predators holding around rock, wood, weed, ledges, and depth changes.
