The Shimano ’22 Metanium Shallow Edition is a robust yet lightweight reel and comes with various gear ratios. The housing is made of a magnesium alloy and the Shallow MGL III spool, which is technically based on the Yumea Spool, is designed for particularly long casts with light lures. With its various gear ratios and resulting line retrieves, this reel is ideally suited for fishing for zander and perch. It offers a maximum drag of 5kg with a weight of 165g. The flat MGL III spool with the SVS Infinity braking system allows for extremely relaxed casting distances and offers sufficient line capacity for FC enthusiasts.
