NuFish Affinium 11ft Float Rod

The Ultimate All-Rounder for the Modern Commercial Matchman.

At Gerrys Fishing, we know that a premium rod range is only as good as its float rod, and the NuFish Affinium 11ft is a masterclass in versatility. Designed as a standalone project rather than a generic template, this rod has been rigorously field-tested by top consultants to ensure it handles the high-intensity demands of todays commercial fisheries.

Built on a high-grade 2-piece blank with a precision spigot joint, the Affinium offers a seamless transition of power. It features a stunning through-action that remains soft enough to prevent hook pulls on F1s and silvers, yet possesses a hidden power reserve in the butt to tame hard-fighting double-figure carp.

Whether you are flicking a light insert waggler into a tight margin or launching a heavy 12g pellet waggler 35 metres into a headwind, the Affinium delivers a crisp, responsive strike to ensure every bite results in a hooked fish.

Where to use the Affinium 11ft Float:

Pellet Waggler Fishing: The 11ft length is the golden standard for frequent casting and rapid response when targeting carp in the upper layers.
Silver Fish & F1s: The progressive action is forgiving enough for light hooklinks and small hooks when targeting skimmers and winter F1s.
Tight Swims: Perfect for commercial lakes where a 12ft or 13ft rod is too cumbersome for casting under overhanging trees or into narrow bays.
Distance Versatility: Effortlessly handles everything from short-range mugging to punching floats 30m+ to reach the aeration bubbles.

Gerrys Verdict: An elegant, lightweight powerhouse. If you want one float rod to do it all on the commercialsfrom winter silvers to summer lumpsthis is it.
