Shimano Sienna Spinning 2.11m (3-21g) | The Agile All-Rounder

At Gerrys Fishing, we understand that a great day on the water starts with the right gear. The Shimano Sienna Spinning series is our top recommendation for anglers who want Shimanos world-class reliability without a premium price tag. Designed as the perfect technical partner for the iconic Sienna reel, this rod offers a balanced, high-performance setup that looks as good as it fishes.

This 2.11m (approx. 7ft) model with a 3-21g casting weight is the Agile All-Rounder of the range. It is the perfect length for navigating tight riverbanks, urban canals, or fishing from a small boat. Built with a Full Carbon blank, it delivers a level of responsiveness and lightweight performance that will significantly boost your confidence as you master new lure techniques.

Why Choose the Sienna Spinning?

• Full Carbon Construction: Unlike heavy composite rods, the Sienna features a full carbon blank that is lightweight (only 121g!) and responsive. Youll feel every underwater feature and the subtle plucks from curious fish.

• Moderate-Fast Action: This forgiving action is perfect for new and intermediate anglers. it loads easily to help you achieve accurate casts and provides a smooth, progressive bend to absorb the lunges of a fighting fish.

• Shimano Hardlite Guides: Built to endure, these stainless steel guides are designed to handle both monofilament and modern braided lines, ensuring your gear stays in top shape season after season.

• Ergonomic EVA Split-Grip: The modern EVA handle is durable, easy to clean, and provides a comfortable, secure grip in all weather conditions, paired with a rock-solid DPS reel seat.

Use Example: Street Fishing and Light River Work

Imagine you are exploring a local canal basin or a small, tree-lined river. Youre using a 10g spinner or a small soft-plastic jig, targeting Perch or small Pike near the structure.

The 2.11m length is your best friend here, allowing you to make precise underhand casts under overhanging branches or bridge pilings where fish love to hide. As you work the lure, the sensitive carbon blank lets you feel the blade spinning or the jig bouncing off the bottom. When a Perch hits, the Moderate-Fast action cushions the take, ensuring a solid hook-up without pulling the lure out of the fishs mouth.
