Main Use

This hook is specifically designed for situations where a more delicate bait presentation is required:

  • Bait Type: It is ideal for worm baits (such as ragworm or lugworm) as the fine wire and long shank allow for easy threading and presentation, keeping the bait intact.
  • Target Species: It is a superb all-round match hook for targeting a variety of smaller to medium-sized sea species, particularly those that are shy biters or require a delicate approach, such as:
    • Flounder
    • Plaice
    • Dab
    • Whiting
    • Smaller Bass and Bream

The Match designation indicates its suitability for match fishing where speed and neat bait presentation are key to success.
