Daiwa Saltiga Air Portable

The Daiwa Saltiga Air Portable, with its multi-part and expedition-ready design, is not only engineered for a beautiful bend curve but also prioritizes strength. The blank material is high-strength HVF Nano Plus, offering exceptional flexibility. For added reinforcement, the outer end of the blank, extending to the butt, is wrapped with X45 to achieve high torsional rigidity. Combined with Daiwa’s advanced V-Joint , this results in a strength comparable to that of a one-piece rod. The result is a multi-part offshore rod perfectly suited for expeditions. C84-4 The casting weight supports lures up to 90g and is an ideal model for targeting Hiramasa and Kihada with PE4 main line. The flexible tip makes this rod particularly well-suited for casting and handling small to medium-sized lures, which are frequently used when the prey is small. Furthermore, the entire taper is flexible, which not only reduces kickback during the cast but also effectively absorbs and counteracts the fish’s pull during the fight. Therefore, this rod is also highly recommended for anglers who are unsure of their physical fitness. J59S-3 This model is designed for the most common jigging combination of approximately 180g jigs with PE3 line. It offers optimal power for fishing for coastal buri and medium-sized hiramasa, significantly expanding your options on expeditions. Even when a large fish bites, SALTIGA’s characteristically strong blank ensures safe and comfortable landings.
