The Elk Caddis is so good that you ought to have rows of colors. These flies are amazing for fooling fish when conditions are tough, but have plenty of buoyancy to hang a bead head nymph behind it and pick apart pockets on your favorite creek and yet imitative enough to fish it on flat water. For the traveling angler or the angler who fishes close to home this is a legacy fly that has and never will go out of style. We make sure to tie ours with high quality materials, with perfect proportions, and on a Tiemco hook.

Fish these anywhere caddis are active, but its also one of our favorite flies for the Mother’s Day Caddis Hatch!
