Most food sources in rivers are relatively similar, with caddis – in all it’s guises – being the most prolific. This Olive Grub pattern designed by Kieron Jenkins imitates a case-less caddis perfectly and has been a best selling pattern for many reason, but most importantly, it simply catches fish. Use this fly on the point of a French or Czech nymphing setup in the larger sizes, or in the smaller sizes it can be easily fished under an indicator.
