A best seller. The Green Drake or Common Mayfly, is easily identifiable and frequently represented by fly dressers. A lovely delicate and large insect measuring up to around 50 mm, found in abundance in spring and early summer, but in places can be found well into autumn. A day ?on the mayfly? is a special day indeed.
