Grundns Forecast Insulated Jacket: The Ultimate Sea Fishing Mid-Layer

The Grundns Forecast Insulated Jacket is a high-performance thermal mid-layer engineered specifically for the punishing conditions of offshore and coastal angling. Designed to bridge the gap between a lightweight base and a heavy outer shell, this jacket provides the critical warmth and weather resistance needed when the temperature drops and the spray starts flying.

Constructed with a rugged 420 Denier nylon face fabric and reinforced with a Polyurethane (PU) coating, the Forecast Jacket offers a formidable barrier against wind and water. Unlike standard puffer jackets that lose warmth when damp, this jacket utilizes PrimaLoft synthetic insulation. This advanced thermal technology mimics the properties of down but maintains its loft and heat-retention capabilities even in high-moisture marine environments.

Key Features & Performance

• Sea-Spec Protection: Every seam is fully taped and sealed, preventing water ingress even at the stress points. The PU-coated exterior ensures that salt spray and light rain bead off instantly.

• Active Angler Fit: Featuring articulated elbows and a relaxed cut, this jacket is designed for the physical demands of fishingwhether you are hauling pots, casting heavy lures, or operating a tiller.

• Advanced Hood Design: The integrated hood features a built-in stiffened visor, engineered to maintain its shape in high winds and keep driving rain or snow away from your field of vision.

• Thermal Regulation: The PrimaLoft core provides an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, making it an ideal smart mid-layer that fits comfortably under bibs or a heavy PVC slicker without adding unnecessary bulk.
