Aventus Zero900 16m Power Package | The Pinnacle of Pole Technology

At Gerrys Fishing, we understand that for the serious match and commercial angler, a pole is more than just a toolit is an extension of your intent. The Aventus Zero900 represents the absolute limit of what is physically possible with current carbon technology. Designed to be the best pole Guru could produce, it utilizes the highest grade of Japanese carbon and a specialized Fast Taper design to achieve a level of performance that was previously unthinkable.

By tapering from thick to thin quickly, the Zero900 achieves incredible stiffness for lightning-fast tip speed and precise bait presentation, while maintaining the superior strength required to bag big weights on demanding commercial venues.

The Power of the Zero900 Build

1. Highest Grade Japanese Carbon

The foundation of the Zero900 is its material. By using the most advanced Japanese carbon available, the development team has managed to strip away unnecessary weight without sacrificing structural integrity. This results in a pole that feels balanced and effortless at its full 16m length.

2. Fast Taper Performance

The Fast Taper is the secret to the Zero900s rigidity. Because the sections transition in diameter more rapidly than traditional poles, the sections remain stiffer under tension. This means less bounce when shipping out and much more control when striking at shy-biting F1s or battling large carp in the margins.

3. Rigorous 24-Month Testing

This wasnt a project rushed to market. Under the guidance of Brand Manager Adam Rooney, the Aventus Zero900 underwent two years of exhaustive testing across a variety of European venues. Every section has been tweaked and refined by professional anglers to ensure it performs perfectly under real-world match conditions.

Product Details and Uses

The Ultimate Commercial Powerhouse

The Aventus Zero900 Power Package is specifically curated for the angler who spends the majority of their time on commercial fisheries. The extensive spares package focuses on Power kits (Carp and Match Power), which are designed to house heavier elastics. These kits are essential when you are targeting high-volume catches and larger fish where section strength is non-negotiable.

Interchangeability & Longevity

A massive advantage of the Aventus range is that the Zero900 sections are fully interchangeable with the Aventus Zero700. If you already own a 700 or are looking to upgrade, your existing kits and sections will fit perfectly. This ecosystem allows anglers to build a comprehensive pole setup where every piece of carbon works in harmony.

Precision and Handling

Despite the Power designation, this pole remains incredibly refined. The stiffness provided by the Japanese carbon ensures that even at 16m, there is minimal tip recovery time. This allows you to dap a bait with extreme precision against far-bank features or islandsa common requirement for winning match weights.

Gerrys Pro Tip:

When setting up the Zero900 for a match, take advantage of the True Extensions. These are designed to bring the pole to the exact length stated without compromising the action. Unlike some universal extensions, these maintain the fast-taper profile, ensuring that your 13m or 16m setup feels just as stiff and responsive as it does at shorter lengths. Also, remember that the 5 additional kits included in this package are of the anglers choicebe sure to mix and match between Carp Power and F1 kits depending on the specific venues you plan to tackle this season.
