Jackson Minato James Pencil 65 Sinking Lure LCR

65mm | Sinking

The Jackson Minato James Pencil 65 Sinking Lure is a pencil-style bait for covering surface-adjacent water with a slim profile.

It is useful when predators are tracking bait high in the water but you need more casting distance or subsurface control than a floating walk-the-dog lure gives you.

Work it with a steady sweep-and-wind retrieve, small twitches, or a faster skipping cadence when fish are actively chasing.

Pauses and speed changes are important because many fish follow a pencil first and eat when the rhythm breaks.

It is strongest around river mouths, flats, current seams, wash lines, and bait schools.

It is not the first pick when fish are buried deep or feeding on bottom; use it when predators are looking upward and chasing slim bait.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, sea bass, flathead, trout, perch, trevally, and other lure-chasing predators.
