Korum Smokescreen Mini Hook Kickers Elite Presentation by Gerrys Fishing

Achieving the perfect flip on your hook is the secret to turning more pickups into landed fish. The Korum Smokescreen Mini Hook Kickers are designed to streamline your rigs while creating a devastating anti-eject setup. By simply sliding these over the eye of your hook, you extend the shank at a precise angle, forcing the hook to turn and grab hold instantly the moment a fish tries to blow the bait out.

Part of the advanced Smokescreen range, these kickers feature a matte camouflage finish that makes them virtually invisible on the bottom. Unlike traditional heat-shrink tubing which can be fiddly to steam, these are ready to use and shaped to imitate the appearance of small natural baits or debris, providing a organic look that fools even the most suspicious specimens.

Advanced Hooking Mechanics & Stealth

• Instant Line-Aligner Effect: Creates the perfect aggressive angle for the hook to turn, significantly increasing your hooking ratio for species like Tench, Bream, and Carp.

• Anti-Eject Technology: The kicked angle makes it incredibly difficult for a fish to spit out the hook once it has been sucked in.

• Natural Mimicry: Designed with a subtle profile and Smokescreen finish to look like small aquatic larvae or organic matter on the lake bed.

• Easy Application: No steaming required; simply slide the kicker up your hooklink and over the eye of the hook for a secure, semi-stiff extension.

• Durable & Flexible: Made from a tough yet supple material that maintains its shape cast after cast, while remaining safe for the fish during the fight.

Where to Use Smokescreen Mini Hook Kickers

These kickers are a game-changer for several modern specimen tactics:

• Specimen Tench & Bream: Perfect for use with small hooks (size 1014) and short hair rigs. The Mini size provides a discrete but effective turn that is essential for these shy-biting species.

• The Method & Hybrid Feeders: Use them on your short 4-inch hooklinks to ensure the hook is always in the prime position to catch as fish sift through the pile of pellets.

• Wafter & Pop-Up Presentations: Excellent for balancing your hook; the kicker adds a small amount of weight to the eye, helping the hook sit flat while the bait hovers just above it.

• River Barbel Fishing: In clear summer rivers, these kickers provide the stealth needed to fool big Barbel while ensuring the hook finds a firm hold in their hard mouths.

Gerrys Pro Tip: When using the Mini Hook Kickers, ensure your hooklink material exits the kicker from the inside of the bend. This accentuates the flip action, making the hook turn much faster the second it feels tension from a fishs mouth
