Pro Tip from Gerrys Fishing

The Perfect Pellet Method: Because this bowl is 100% waterproof, it is the ideal vessel for the soak and drain technique. Cover your 2mm or 4mm feed pellets with water for exactly one minute per millimeter of pellet size, then drain. The 7.5L capacity gives you plenty of room to toss the pellets afterward, ensuring they are perfectly coated and separated for the best possible presentation in your feeder.

Examples of Where to Use

• Commercial Match Fishing: Ideal for keeping on a side tray to hold your main feed supply, keeping it moist and accessible.

• Specimen Tench or Bream Sessions: Large enough to mix a 2kg bag of groundbait with added particles and liquids.

• River Fishing: Use it to soak sticky pellets for use with heavy cage feeders in fast currents.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is the bowl rigid enough to stand on its own?

Yes. Thanks to the reinforced stiff rim and the thickness of the EVA shell, the bowl remains stable and upright even when empty, unlike cheaper, flimsy alternatives.

Can I use this for washing my hands?

Absolutely. Many anglers keep a 7.5L bowl filled with water specifically for rinsing hands after handling fish or groundbait to keep their rod handles and reels clean.

Will it fit inside a standard 17L bucket?

Yes, the round profile is designed to nest inside most standard groundbait buckets, allowing you to maximize space in your carryall or on your barrow.

Does it come with a lid?

This specific model is an open-top bowl for quick access. If you need a lid for transit or to keep bait fresh, we recommend looking at the Supera X Ventamesh range or the zipped Supera X Bait Bags
