The Loujig ZN 40g is my go-to when the current is pushing hard. Zinc has a slightly different vibration in the water than lead, and Ive found that on pressured days, it can really out-fish traditional jigs. For the best results, try a 76 to 9 Medium-Heavy (MH) rod like the Sakura Ryokan to get that whip-like cast.
