Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Ultra Light Game Spinning Rod

The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Ultra Light Game rod series is designed to take finesse and micro-lure fishing to the next level. Engineered for ultra-light lines and lures, these rods allow you to feel every twitch, tap, and movement of your lure, giving you total control and precise presentation.

Built on 24/30T high modulus carbon fibre blanks, the Defiance SG2 Ultra Light Game rods deliver exceptional sensitivity while retaining surprising power in the butt section. This balance makes them perfect for LRF (Light Rock Fishing), street fishing, and micro game styles, yet still capable of handling unexpected hard-fighting fish.

The moderate-fast action provides smooth casting and excellent lure control, making it easy to work tiny soft plastics, micro jigs, spinners, and small hard lures. Premium SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides ensure smooth line flow and corrosion resistance, while the SeaGuide Gold Label reel seat offers a secure and comfortable reel fit.

Finished with tough EVA handles for comfort and durability, and supplied with a deluxe rod bag, the Defiance SG2 Ultra Light Game is a refined tool for anglers who demand maximum sensitivity and finesse performance.
