Savage Gear Thoriz 2500HG Spinning Reel

The Savage Gear Thoriz 2500HG (High Gear) is a high-performance spinning reel meticulously engineered to provide an exceptionally smooth and reliable fishing experience. Designed to perfectly complement the Savage Gear SG4 rod series, it combines premium aesthetics with flawless functionality.

The reels core is a rigid K-Alloy body that eliminates flex, ensuring that the Precision Cut Gearing operates flawlessly and provides a buttery smooth feel, even when subjected to heavy pressure. This is further enhanced by the 7+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearing system and the use of Duragrease and Duraoil, which maintain the reels silky operation over time and in demanding conditions.

The sealed Friction Control System (FCS) Carbon Drag washers with Hydro Sealed (HS) Drag deliver a powerful and consistent drag performance, giving you the confidence and control to battle fish without worrying about drag inconsistency or failure. The tapered spool lip design is a key feature that helps to increase casting distance and prevent frustrating wind knots. The high gear ratio of the HG model is ideal for techniques requiring fast retrieves, such as working lures quickly or picking up slack line.

The 2500HG model features a one-piece handle design, ensuring a solid connection and a comfortable grip during long fishing sessions. This size is ideal for finesse fishing techniques and targeting species like perch and zander.
