Shimano ’21 Antares DC

The Shimano ’21 Antares DC is a robust baitcasting reel and comes in two versions. The reel consists of a magnesium Hagane body and a 37mm MGL III aluminum spool, which is also suitable for use with FC lines. It is perfectly suitable for lures up to and including the DEPS SlideSwimmer 175. The 37mm MGL III spool with the 4×8 DC braking system allows for extremely relaxed casting distances and offers sufficient line capacity for FC enthusiasts. We recommend the Seaguar R18 LTD , the test winner among FC lines from Japan, as a suitable line. Please note that this is the right-handed model, with the crank on the right side.
