Shimano ’23 Antares DC MD

The Shimano ’23 Antares DC MD is equipped with the revolutionary Digital Control (DC) braking system, enabling precise and controlled casting distances. This system allows you to individually adjust the braking force to achieve optimal casting distance, regardless of external conditions. Whether you’re casting light lures or heavy weights, the Antares DC MD HG & XG ensures precise and controlled casting distances. The reel features a robust yet lightweight magnesium body, ensuring optimal balance and durability. The Hagane Body Design minimizes flex and delivers smooth, powerful performance. Weighing just 235 grams, the Antares DC MD is one of the lightest reels on the market, allowing for hours of fatigue-free fishing. The Shimano 23 Antares DC MD is available in two different gear ratios HG (High Gear) and XG (Extra High Gear). The HG model offers a 7.4:1 gear ratio for fast lure movements and high retrieval speeds, while the XG model offers a 7.8:1 gear ratio for extremely fast lure movements and lightning-fast retrieval speeds.
