Shimano Kairiki 8-Strand Braid: Premium Performance and VT Construction

The Shimano Kairiki 8-Strand Braid is a highly technical, premium-rated fishing line engineered to deliver a significant advantage in both freshwater and saltwater applications. Featuring Shimanos exclusive VT Construction, this braid achieves a superior smooth finish, reduced diameter, and exceptional casting performance.

Technical Excellence (VT Construction)

• VT Construction Weave: This exclusive process combines eight carrier strands under constant and even multi-angle tension. This forces each strand to compress perfectly, resulting in a more compact and rounder profile than many competitor 8-carrier braids.
• Reduced Diameter & Smoother Finish: The tighter weave translates directly to a reduced diameter for its given strength and a noticeably smoother surface. This combination provides longer, more accurate casts and minimizes noise as the line runs through the rod guides.
• Increased Sensitivity: The highly compact, round profile and tight weave contribute to increased sensitivity, ensuring you feel every subtle take, maximizing your hook-up rate.

Versatility and Durability

• All-Application Use: Perfect for all fishing styles in both freshwater and saltwater, providing reliable performance wherever you fish.
• Colour Options: Available in a wide range of colours to suit any scenario:
  • High Visibility: Yellow, Mantis Green, and Multi
  • Low Visibility: Steel Grey
• Premium Quality: Shimanos commitment to quality makes the Kairiki 8 a premium line for anglers who appreciate the significant benefits that a high-end braid provides.
