Shimano Socorro SW Spinning Reels are designed for the challenges the saltwater environment can have on an angler and a reel. The inspiration for these reels comes from the knowledge of extreme conditions and excitement for saltwater fishing. The Socorro saltwater reels provide anglers with the confidence to fish in harsh saltwater conditions.

• Hagane Gear: Allows for the reel to hold up in the saltwater with the cold forged drive gear.
• X-Ship Construction: Keeps the gears in perfect alignment, increasing power and enhancing smoothness.
• One-piece, highly rigid handle shank provides more cranking power.
• Cross Carbon Drag: Provides long lasting smoothness to withstand fast, powerful runs from pelagic and large inshore species.

Shimano Socorro SW spinning reels have the true durability to tackle nearly anything in the salt. Equipped with long-lasting HAGANE Gear, the Socorro reels give anglers the strength and confidence for both inshore and offshore action. X-Ship technology offers anglers the ultimate in smoothness and power to fish with confidence and know the Socorro SW reels are ready.
