Solar A1 Bow-Loc Landing Net (42)

The Original Quick-Release Legend.

At Gerrys Fishing, weve sold a lot of nets, but nothing beats the convenience of the Bow-Loc. The standout feature is the patented quick-release spreader block, which allows you to collapse the net arms in seconds with a single button press. This means no more struggling to pull carbon arms out of a tight block while a fish is thrashing in the mesh.

The A1 Bow-Loc is built with a high-grade carbon handle and arms, finished with subtle matte-black aluminum fittings. Its light, incredibly stiff, and designed to give you total confidence when youre leaning out to scoop a personal best.

Key Performance Features

• Patented Bow-Loc Mechanism: The most reliable quick-release system on the market. Press the button, and the tension is instantly released, allowing the arms to fold. This makes transferring the fish to the unhooking mat safer and easier.

• Stiff Carbon Arms: Many 42 nets bow or flex under the weight of a big fish or water pressure. The A1 arms are reinforced at the joints to ensure the net stays rigid and easy to maneuver.

• Slim-Profile 6ft Handle: The high-modulus carbon handle is designed to be slim but incredibly strong, providing the reach you need for steep banks or marginal weed beds.

• Fish-Friendly Mesh: The deep-cut mesh ensures that even the largest carp can be safely sacked up in the water for a few moments while you prepare your weighing equipment.

• Refined Aesthetics: With its understated matte black finish and subtle branding, the A1 Bow-Loc looks like a high-end custom net without the custom price tag.

Where to Use the Solar A1 Bow-Loc

This net is designed for versatility across all carp venues:

• High-Stock Commercials: When youre catching multiple fish, the one-touch release saves you time and effort between every catch.

• Weedy Margins: The stiff arms and 6ft handle allow you to push the net through marginal weed to get underneath a fish thats trying to bury itself.

• Long-Stay Sessions: If youre fishing alone, the lightweight carbon construction makes it easy to hold the net in one hand while playing the fish with the other.

• Difficult Landings: On steep-sided banks or canal towpaths, the ability to quickly collapse the net arms makes it much safer to lift the fish up the bank and onto your mat.
