Westin Smmet Inline Lure (12cm / 28g) The Sea Trout Specialist

Translated to English, the name Smmet means The Nailand this inline lure is guaranteed to nail those big sea trout. As an all-time favorite among hardcore Sea Trout anglers across Scandinavia, the Westin Smmet is a masterfully designed lure that combines exceptional long-casting ability with an irresistible sand eel imitation, crucial for hunting in shallow coastal waters.

Long-Casting Design, Natural Imitation

The Smmets slim profile and weighty construction (28g) make it a perfect long-casting lure, allowing anglers to reach distant feeding grounds and cover maximum water with ease.

• Sand Eel Imitation: While it may resemble a nail in its profile, in the water, the Smmet provides a great, erratic imitation of a sand eelarguably the most important prey for large sea trout.

• Inline Concept: The inline concept is a game-changer, drastically reducing the leverage a fish can use to shake the hook, helping you lose less fish during intense fights.

• Target Species: Specifically designed and developed in Scandinavia for targeting large Sea Trout (Seatrout), but also highly effective for coastal Cod and other predatory fish.

Rigging Tips for Optimal Performance

To maximize the Smmets performance and the benefits of the inline system:

1. Standard Rigging: Run your mainline directly through the lures body. Use a small round or oval bead to protect the knot. Then, tie the line to a single or treble hook of your choice.

2. Free Swinging Hook (Recommended): Mount your hook on an oval split ring and tie your line knot directly to the double-stranded part of the ring. This setup offers the most free movement and maximizes hook-up rate.
